Ouyang Xu has been a long term meditation practitioner. He is the Chairman and President of Zhongguancun Cultural Development Co., Ltd.  Executive Director of the Peking University Alumni Association, an initiating director of the Peking University Entrepreneurs Club, and a member of the Standing Committee of the 10th Political Consultative Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region. He is also on the Board of Charhar Institute, a prominent think thank on border relations, peace and human rights. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Peking University in 1987 and is currently a doctoral candidate in management at Peking University Guanghua School of Management. He founded Guofeng Group, serving as its Chairman and President, and is the founder of Tibet Tourism Co., Ltd. He also established Tibet Human Geography magazine. Additionally, he is the founder of the Peking University Eagle Society, and the President of the Peking University Alumni Association in Tibet.
