Anita Troy 徐彦婷
Anita Troy is a public policy scholar, educator, and public interest advocate. She is completing her Master’s in Public Policy, with a concentration in International and Global Affairs, at the Harvard Kennedy School, after earning an Ed.M. in Identity, Power, and Justice from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her work centers on juvenile justice, marginalized communities, educational equity, restorative justice, and social development.Anita is the co-founder of Qiming Academy, a public-interest education initiative serving justice-involved youth, children of incarcerated parents, left-behind children, and underserved rural communities. Over the past decade, she has worked across philanthropy, public interest law, education, consulting, and policy research, collaborating with organizations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Beijing Zhicheng Public Interest Lawyers, and community-based education initiatives in China and Southeast Asia.Her work integrates trauma-informed education, mindfulness, legal empowerment, and creative learning to help young people rebuild dignity, voice, and a sense of possibility. She is especially interested in how policy, education, and compassion-based practice can work together to serve communities often overlooked by formal systems.Professionally, Anita has also worked as an advisor at Deloitte in Shenzhen, first in the forensic services department and later in restructuring, where she gained experience in research, risk analysis, stakeholder coordination, and cross-sector problem-solving
